Who we are

Guyd.me is a travel planning app that helps you build trips, trails and nights out, and share them with people you choose. If you have a question about your information, email privacy@guyd.me.

What we store

• Your account details — the email address you sign up with.
• Your travel preferences and the answers you give during onboarding.
• Trips, trails, lists, nights out, ratings and notes that you create.
• Places you pin, along with any photos you choose to upload.
• Location points, but only while you have deliberately started tracking a trip or a night out.

Why we store it

To run the app for you: to build your plans, remember where you have been, and show your trips back to you. Preferences are used to suggest places you are likely to enjoy.

Who can see it

Your trips are private by default. Nothing is published until you create a share link, and a share link only shows a filtered version of a trip — private notes, booking details and where you are staying are never included. Live location is only visible through a link you have created for that purpose, and you can stop sharing at any time.

Services we rely on

We use hosting and database providers to store your account and content, an AI provider to generate travel suggestions, and mapping and routing services to draw routes and walking directions. Text you enter when asking for suggestions is sent to the AI provider so it can answer.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete any trip, list, pin or photo from inside the app.
• You can revoke a share link so it stops working.
• You can delete your account from your profile page. Deleting your account removes your account and the information attached to it.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@guyd.me.

Children

Guyd.me is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
